The Preschool will have their last day of Preschool on Wednesday, May 10th.
They will have their picnic on that day. Please have our child bring a sack lunch with a drink. If you have any questions, please contact the Preschool Classroom.
On the last day for the class of 2023, we want to recognize senior Taylor Rochette, who has read the most personal books in the HS this year: 94 books for a total of 30,925 pages. In addition to maintaining a high GPA, she also took a college EMT class this year.
The winners of the high school Flyer Cup, Nacho Average Queso, enjoyed a field trip to Lincoln yesterday. They enjoyed time at Morrill Hall at UNL, MW Climbing, and Entrap escape room. It's a GREAT day to be a Flyer!
The 2023 Elementary Field Day is scheduled for Friday, May 5th. Students should
bring a water bottle, wear tennis shoes, and layers of clothing as the mornings are
usually cool. Students are encouraged to wear a t-shirt that matches the class
color: K- Yellow, 1st - Royal Blue, 2nd - Green, 4th- Gray, 5th - Red. See schedules below.

Congratulations to the senior class of 2023 (and the 2 who were on the Team Time trip). They walked through the elementary wing where kids congratulated them with high fives and posters.
I want to take a moment to recognize and congratulate Mr. Ellis and Mr. Hanshaw, as well as the students, on their outstanding performance at the spring music program. The dedication, hard work, and talent displayed by everyone involved was truly remarkable.

Due to the fact that Franklin Public Schools will have exceeded the hourly instructional requirements of the Department of Education by Friday, May 12th, it has been decided to make Friday, May 12th the last day of school for students. This will be a normal Friday with a 2:00 PM dismissal."

The Class of 2026 attended the South Central Nebraska Career Fair in Holdrege. They had the opportunity to create their own “TikTok’s” about what they love about Nebraska, as well as hear from amazing businesses in our state. It’s a GREAT day to be a Flyer!
